Terms of Use
Please take a minute to read through the terms for using the graphics available here. Thank you.
General
- All my graphics (graphics are icons, wallpaper, layouts & pixel art) are linkware. This means they require a link back to my domain where ever you use them on the internet.
- Link only to the following URL (you may use a text link or one of my pre-made buttons): http://www.roses-thorns.com
- All my graphics are for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Do not direct link (also known as hotlinking) to any of my graphics. Please upload them to your own server.
- Do not redistribute any of my graphics to a graphics collection without permission.
- Please let me know if you are using my graphics and where I can see them on the web. I'd love to hear from you!
- Terms are subject to change at any time without notification.
Avatars
- Avatars may be modified as long as the link text is changed to "Modified from Rose's Thorns."
- It may be difficult to provide a link back on certain web forums, but try to place a link back in your forum profile, if possible.
Layouts
- Layouts are linkware, so you must keep the link to my site and any other listed sites for as long as you use the layout.
- Do not redistribute any pixel art included with the layouts.
- Do not alter the CSS file included with layouts as it contains the page design. I want my work to be represented correctly so when people see the link "Layout by Rose's Thorns" they will have an idea of the type of designs I offer.
- You may alter the font family, size, background color, link effects, and other items specified in the CSS file on certain layouts as long as you change the link text to read: "Layout Modified from Rose's Thorns"
- Do feel free to look at the CSS file included with layouts and see what you can come up with on your own.
Copyright Disclaimer
A note about anime/manga images: Use any linkware with an anime or manga image at your own risk. I did not ask permission from any Japanese artist or company to use their artwork. Most anime fans will know the difference between official art and fan art. However, it is best to include a copyright notice on the page where you use the image. Be prepared to take down your image if asked by the original company or artist. (Most fansites spread awareness of the series, and hopefully no harm will be done.)
